  1. Division I Update
Eau Claire women lost the first set to Colorado and were down by ten points in the second set before making a comeback to tie the game at 24-24. It went back and forth before the Blugolds pulled out the win 31-29. In the final set, Eau Claire fell short, losing 10-15. The turning point of the set was at 11-10 in favor of Colorado, a service receive shank went over the net and no one from Eau Claire picked it up. Colorado then served the next 3 points for the win. Eau Claire finished tied for 9th place, which is the best finish a WVC womens program has ever had. Congrats on the great season!
