NCVF SATURDAY MENS SCHEDULE AND RESULTS - 2014

5 mens teams are in position to make a run at a national championship today.

Division I
Oshkosh will play #23 University of Arizona in Gold.
Whitewater will play the University of Florida in Bronze.
Marquette will play CSU-Chico in Bronze.

Division IA
Wheaton will play San Francisco State in Bronze.

Division IAAA
Stevens Point will play University of Texas at San Antonio in Bronze.
Milwaukee II will play University of Albany in Bronze.

Division II
La Crosse will play SUNY-Cortland in Gold.
Eau Claire will play Claremont College in Gold.
Stout will play Alderson Broaddus College in Gold.
Platteville will play Azusa Pacific university in Silver

Division III
Oshkosh II will play Arizona State University "B" in Gold
Marquette II will play University of Texas "B" in Bronze.

  1. Division III Update
    Oshkosh II is in the Division III semi-final. The Titans were handed a gift when Arizona State University "B" failed to show up on time for their reffing assignment. Not that it would have mattered, as they weren't a very strong team. Oshkosh won 25-0, 25-15 and move on to the semi-final against the winner of Indiana University "B" and Penn State University "B".

    -Marquette University lost to CSU-Chico 23-25, 17-25. The finish tied for 41st place.

    -UW-Whitewater beat University of Florida 25-15, 25-22 and will play Penn University next.

    UW-Platteville lost to Azusa Pacific 20-25, 15-25. They finished tied for 25th.

    Stout beat Alderson Broaddus College 25-23, 25-22 and will play Claremont College in the Quarter Final.

    -Eau Claire lost to Claremont College 13-25, 25-23, 12-15. They finished tied for 9th.

    Oshkosh beat #23 University of Arizona 25-19, 25-15 to advance to the Quarter Final against #13 Fresno State.

    Marquette II beat University of Texas "B" 25-22, 25-22 and will face University of Michigan "B" next.

    La Crosse beat SUNY-Cortland 25-19, 25-20 to move on to the quarter final.

    Oshkosh II is headed back to the Division III National Championship. They beat Penn State University 24-26, 25-18, 15-13. They will have a rematch with Cal Poly SLO "B" from last night's exciting match.

    Stout is headed to the Division II semi-final. They just beat Claremont College 25-15, 27-25.

    Oshkosh beat California State University-Fresno 25-22, 25-22 and will play against #9 Illinois State University in the semi-final.

    Oshkosh II won the Division III National Championship over Cal Poly SLO "B" 25-17, 16-25, 15-13. It's Oshkosh II's 3rd DIII National Championship.

    Marquette University II lost to University of Michigan "B" 23-25, 24-26. They finish tied for 19th.

    #5 Stout lost to #1 Messiah 25-27, 18-25. They finished tied for 3rd.
    #2 La Crosse defeated #6 University of Missouri-St. Louis 25-19, 31-29 and will play in the national championship match. They will play at 8pm CST and you can watch it live: http://www.teamusa.org/USA-Volleyball/Events/Indoor/Collegiate/2014-NCVF-Championship
